Darin:
Might wanna refresh the page Dark. I moved the Tagboard over to Facebook.
Darkcyde:
Has anyone ventured out and picked up an iPad yet?
Darkcyde:
4G iPhone, OS 4, iPad oh my. Apple is on a roll this quarter...
Larry:
I use Fox Fire.
Darkcyde:
Some of its features are nice like the widget support, the sync feature, and unity but most of it is just bloat, the lack of a bookmark bar and no xmarks support is a big turn off.
Darin:
I never even tried Opera. Guess that saves me the experience.
Darkcyde:
Back on topic, Opera 10 seems to have promise but its a bit too bloated for me. Way too many unnecessary features and you are left with an unresponsive browser that forgets what its actually built for
Darin:
Sadly I don't. I have a newer 3GS with 3.1.3 and I'm hosed. If anyone knows it would be Larry. I'll see what he knows.
Darkcyde:
Not to go off topic but, Darin do you know of any working 3.1.3 Jailbreaks? I have tried almost everything google returns and get a looped DFU or itunes errors.
Darkcyde:
even on my "Hackintosh" Dell i use Firefox over Safari, something about safari rubs me the wrong way. I cant wait to see Opera mini hit the iPhone or atleast a jailbreak version if nothing else.
Darkcyde:
I use Firefox for everything Chrome just doesn't support yet. I like Safari, its nice and stable just not as customizable as Firefox.
Darin:
I like the potential for Chrome, I been using it for about a month now in OS X but I notice it lacks some plugin support still. So I have Safari also. Otherwise I point Windows people to it as well.
Darkcyde:
Chrome: Simplicity, good Flash support, xMarks compatibility, easy download manager, nice tabbed interface, discrete address/bookmarks bar, clean and efficient
Darin:
Browser check. With all the switching going on these days who's using what browser and why?
Darkcyde:
LogMeIn has a good clean interface and seems pretty fast. I have Teamviewer set up as a windows service so it makes it pretty easy to manage.
Darin:
I ended up buying LogMeIn for iPhone a few months back. Otherwise I'd have TeamViewer.
Darkcyde:
Teamviewer for iPhone, best "vnc" app to date. Easy interface, touch based gestures, simply amazing, a must have for on the go techies
Darkcyde:
And it isnt a bastard red headed step child either, it looks like and functions well. Some things return 0 results but with my music thats understandable.
Josh:
Wow, its like Pandora and itunes had a kid...
Darin:
No time to explain, just go to Grooveshark
Darin:
The way the Armory Lite code works to pull in accounts for my page sadl doesn't support multiple realms. So I can't directly integrate you in anymore.
Ben:
Darin why did you remove me from your WOW page.
Darin:
Starcraft II Beta is now upon us. And I'm paying money for anyone willing to "share" a key with me.
Darkcyde:
Looks promising, I'll give it a shot on my Aspire One.
Darin:
Found a very cool ChromeOS type build that seems to work great. Guess this is the best we get till Google flips the switch. ChromiumOS
